From the national park Bavarian Forest across the German-Czech border to the Sumava national park and to the primeval forest Boubin
Starting at the national park centre in Neuschönau the route follows the Bergreichensteiner trail until the border crossing point Finsterau-Bucina. In the Czech Republic in the Sumava national park you hike across a landscape of high moors to Strazny and from there to Kobuva Hut. In this village the information centre Idina Pila is located. Here the loop road around the primeval forest Boubin starts. From this road you can walk up to the Boubin-peak (1.362m) and climb the lookout.
