From Telgart along the European long distance hiking trail E8 to the national park Slovak Paradise, from there to Levoca and Velky Saris
From the city of Telgart the primeval forest route follows the European hiking trail E8 to the national park Slovak Paradise. At the barrier lake Palcmanska Massa the forest route exits the E8 and changes in a northward direction via the Hornad-cross valley to the city of Spisska Nova Ves. This section offers as scenic attractions a high number of gorges with steep tracks. From Spisska Nova Ves you hike tot he city of Levoca. Its historical centre belongs to the UNESCO-world heritage of culture. The primeval forest route further goes to Velky Saris north of the major city of Presov. In Velky Saris the route again meets the European hiking trail E8.
